Kingfishers have again done us proud by placing 1st and 2nd respectively in the NFSAM league, with team B placing first and team A second.

The competition was fierce but Kingfishers kept their cool to show one and all that they are still a force to be reckoned with.

Proof of this if ever was needed is the fact that no less than 6 anglers managed to place in the top 10.

The best placed being veteran float angler John Attard who placed 2nd overall.

The winning teams KSFA B: Steve Johnston, Saviour Borg, Robert Attard, Kevin Cassar, John Attard.
KSFA A: James Gilson, Fortune Calafato, Robert Bugeja, Clayton Camilleri, Pierre Poulton.

KSFA would also like to thank other members who although did not participate in the league, were also ready to lend a hand, especially through marshalling and weighing in. Special thanks go to Andre Borg and Jonathan Vella.

Due to pegging problems in Marsaxlokk, the competition had to be fished in the alternative location, in Gzira. All competitors had a full stock of armoury, ready to attract the mystic mullet. Nevertheless the mullet did not turn up, with few competitors managing to land one or two...
