Maltese Sports Anglers to participate in European Float Fishing Championship

The NFSAM has put forward a strong 5 man team of anglers, which qualified though last years champonships, to represent Malta in this year's European Float Fishing Championships.

The Maltese team is composed of 5 anglers and they shall be fishing at Porto Torres, North of Sardegna for the 13th European Float Angling Championships. 3 of our competing members shall be part of the Team whilst the other 2 coming from HOFC. The anglers are Carmelo Quattrocchi, John Attard, Adrian Nelson, Miguel Grech & Matthew Dimech.  Robert Attard, NFSAM Secretary, shall be handling the roles of Coach and Manager during the Championship.

KSFA has helped it's anglers by providing a financial help to each and every angler that are enrolled with KSFA to help them cover some of the costs. Also we wish to thank NFSAM for managing to obtain funds from Sports Malta, and therefore the financial burden on the anglers is eased a bit more.

A big Thank You also to Silvio & Fiona Farrugia of Angler ThinkFish, Josef Camilleri of Mister Fish & Norbert Spagnol of Pesca Tubertini Malta, who through their outlets honoured us with special discounts for this occasion. Also for Niccu Restaurant for providing his premises for all the meetings the anglers had + he offered the final dinner for free.
