James Gilson & Fortune Calafato win in style
Contrary to doubles Match 1, today dawn heralded in a beautiful calm morning, where, at precisely 0730 the horn was sounded, to the immediate swish of lines being cast. What a beautiful sound!
The winners today were James Gilson & Fortune Calafato with 2.45kg, landing some decent mullet, salp and boobs (vopi) mainly. Boops today were the order of the day. In 2nd place we had Aaron Xureb & Mavrick Muliett on 1.60Kgs, and 3rd overall went to Jason Saliba & Jonathan Aquilina with 1.37kgs, all three winners Colmic boys. Section winners were our new couple Rodrick & Josef Coleiro. Well done boys. And John Attard & Joe Schembri.
