Kingfishers in top positions for Italy 2014 Europeans

Match 2 for float fishing league organised by the National Federation Sport Anglers Malta was won in full by Kingfishers.

 

Jason Saliba managed the first place with 0.97kgs of fish mainly breams on bolo rods.

Dorian Formosa setting up good in the last peg netting 0.87kgs of fish, whilst Joseph Ellul netted 0.76kgs for third place of the day.

 

With one match to go 8 of the first top 10 anglers that will represent Malta in Italy the coming year are from Kingfisher Sport Fishing Association.

 

2 others anglers are from the Blue Sea Club .......

 

All will be decided in the final match on the 22nd September ....... with Jason Saliba, Adrian Nelson and Joseph Ellul all with a good chance of being crowned National Float fishing Champions for 2013.

Adrian Nelson retains title of Mullet King

  Today KSFA members fished the last mullet league match, at M'Xlokk seafront. It was a gorgeous day, with bright sunshine and calm winds. At least this morning most of our anglers landed mullet of various sizes, with Saviour Borg landing a specimen mullet of 750g, and taking 1st place overall...
