John Attard a keen angler from Birzebbuga has made it for the very first time as a national champion for 2012 shore fishing league organised by the National Federation of Sport Anglers Malta.

John won the last match in Ta Xbiex marina on Sunday that entitled him to just one point penalty and thus making it to the first on the podium for 2012.

All the first 5 places in the national federation league have been won by KSFA members which will be forming team Malta A for the Europeans in Cadiz in October 2013

It was a great day for KSFA anglers as they dominated the Xghajra match with top 4 positions. Pierre Poulton did a good weight of 4.4kgs netting mostly small mullet on pole fishing. Adrian Nelson also manages a good 2nd place with 2.96kgs of small mullet and a mix of bottom...
