Final Match Doubles League KSFA
Final match Goes to Miguel Grech & John Attard but league honours go to Luke Bullit and Maverick Muliette.
KSFA today held the final doubles league match right near the Delimara Power Station, which proved to be a very difficult venue. This was a decisive match where most teams were still in contention for a top 3 placing. Luke & Mavrick were leading Miguel & John with 1 point so none could afford to lose any points, and in fact none did, both winning their respective sections and getting the 1 point minimum, although finishing 2nd and 1st respectively, in today`s match, with Miguel & John netting .980g and Luke & Maverick .760g. 3rd place today went to Saviou Borg & Kevin Cassar with .740g. Section winners were Bjorn Brincat & Jonathan Aquilina and Jonathan Vella & David Collins.
The top 3 in the league now finishing: Luke Bullit & Maverick Muliette with 5 points, John Attard & Miguel Grech 6 points and Brian Farrugia and Jonathan Bonnici who today marshalled the match 8 points. And here we would like to congratulate Brian and his spouse who were blessed with an addition to the family, in the shape of a baby girl!
